I have collected antique postcards for a while now. I just love them.
When I look at them, I feel carried away into a different world, which is beautiful, simple, and very sentimental. I guess, people back then were not afraid to appear sweet, gentle, and silly, and sometimes quite a bit naughty. It's not that we have really changed so much though, some one hundred years later, and that is why these wonderful images of the bygone era still speak to so many of us, filling our hearts with beauty and joy.
Here are the best images from my collection. Some are real photographs of beautiful women, handsome men, and sweet children, some are remarkable paintings and drawings by famous or unknown artists. Using today's digital photo technology, I restored them, by digitally removing any creases, stains, discolorations, or tears, so that they could keep bringing us joy today. These beautiful antique postcard reproductions are wonderful to have around, either to be framed, collected, used in collages, or given as greeting cards to our loved ones. Here is something you won't find in your regular greeting card section. Enjoy!
